What is the Monthly Message?
It's our flagship subscription — a physical envelope, sealed and stamped and mailed straight to your door once a month. Inside you'll find a deep-dive research piece, a two-sided debate postcard, a guide to handling the hardest objections you'll face, national homeschool news, curated resources, and a scripture-rooted encouragement from Savanna. It's built to be read at the kitchen table on a hard morning.

When will my first issue arrive?
Each issue mails on the 15th of the month. If you subscribe before the 15th, you'll typically receive that month's issue; if you subscribe after, your first issue will be the following month's. Standard mail delivery time after that is usually 3-7 business days depending on where you live.

Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel whenever you'd like from your account, or just email us at hello@whywehomeschool.net and we'll take care of it. Cancellation stops future billing and mailings at the end of your current billing period — you'll still get any issue you've already paid for.

What if my mailer arrives damaged, or never arrives?
Email us at hello@whywehomeschool.net within 30 days of your billing date and we'll make it right with a replacement or a refund for that issue.

Is this a curriculum?
No. The Monthly Message isn't a curriculum or a devotional — think of it more as encouragement and ammunition for the homeschool parent, not lesson plans for the kids. It's meant to strengthen you, not replace whatever curriculum you're already using.

Who is this for?
Why We Homeschool is written for Christian homeschool families who see homeschooling as more than a scheduling choice — it's for parents doing the hard, unglamorous work of raising kids at the kitchen table and want the conviction and language to talk about it with confidence.

What is "Support Why We Homeschool"?
It's an optional one-time or monthly gift for readers who want to help keep this small, family-run project going. It's not required to receive the Monthly Message — it's simply there for anyone who wants to support the mission directly. Gifts through Support Why We Homeschool are treated as non-refundable donations toward the project, not a purchase of goods.

Can I give the Monthly Message as a gift?
Yes! Visit our Gift a Subscription page to send a friend or family member a few months of the Monthly Message.

How do I update my shipping address or payment method?
Log into your account on the site, or email us directly and we'll update it on our end.
